After 12 years removed from the cigar industry, Tim Ozgener returned in 2022 with the establishment of Ozgener Family Cigars. A former executive at CAO, Tim is the son of founder Cano Ozgener, and his family has been a staple name in the industry since the 1990s. Now, he continues his family’s cigar legacy through OFC.
A followup release to 2022’s original Pi Synesthesia and the 2023 Pi Synesthesia Red, the 2024 Pi Synesthesia Brown continues the theme of its forebears and stays true to its namesake sensory effect. Synesthesia is the name given to a phenomenon wherein the brain routes sensory information through unrelated senses, such as when one can “feel” music. Similarly to the Pi Synesthesia Red, the 2024 limited edition Brown represents the sensory combination of colors and taste. The Brown edition exudes flavors that evoke its namesake, such as chocolate, cocoa, and coffee. Rolled in the Dominican Republic by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo at his Casa Carrillo factory, these cigars feature a Honduran binder, Nicaraguan filler, and Mexican San Andrés wrapper.
