A delicious sweetness highlighted by notes of black pepper, spice, leather, and earth add complexity to this full-strength cigar. Its beautifully aged Connecticut grown Habano-seed maduro wrapper covers a Nicaraguan Corojo binder and a filler made of Nicaraguan Criollo ’98 tobacco. To develop the blend and craft the cigars for their milestone anniversary cigar, Artesano del Tobacco enlisted famed cigarmaker AJ Fernandez. The Viva La Vida 5th Anniversary cigar is handmade in Nicaragua.

Viva La Vida 5th Anniversary Jester Belicoso 5″1/2 * 56
$19.00 – $171.00
In 2019, the Fakih brothers decided to leave the retail cigar world and try their hand at starting a cigar line. The odds were stacked against them. Few new brands survive the first year and even fewer make it to five years. But here we are: Viva La Vida is 94-rated and its follow-up El Pulpo also garnered a 94-rating and both are in shops across the country. Pretty successful five years, huh?
So what’s new here? Glad you asked. The Fakih brothers asked AJ Fernandez to deliver something special. AJ took the original, 94-rated blend and sourced a special Habano Connecticut maduro wrapper. The dark, oily wrapper is a welcome addition to the blend and kicks things up a notch. Additionally, the blend is offered in two special figuardo sizes that accentuate the best parts of the cigar. Expect notes of cedar, earth, spice, and hints of cocoa on the finish.
