The Highclere Castle Senetjr Perfecto was created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the discovery of the ancient Egyptian King Tutankhamun’s tomb, which had been hidden for 3,000 years. The search for the tomb and its eventual discovery was led by Archaeologist Howard Carter and funded by the Fifth Earl of Carnarvon, who resided in Highclere Castle.
