The latest cigar from Powstanie will succeed by failing or fail by succeeding.
It’s called Catastrophic Failure, a 5 1/2 x 52 box-pressed robusto extra. Blend-wise, it uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over binders from Mexico and Pennsylvania and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Like other Powstanie cigars, it is made at Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.
production is limited to 500 bundles of 10 cigars.
“We’re proud to introduce the Catastrophic Failure, a cigar that exemplifies everything Powstanie Cigars stands for,” said Mike Szczepankiewicz, co-founder of Powstanie, in a press release. “This cigar blends traditional expertise with modern innovation, making it a standout addition to our lineup.”
