When Robert Caldwell was 12 years old, he visited E.P. Carrillo’s factory in Little Havana. Two decades later, Caldwell would have the opportunity to collaborate on Anastasia, a passion project created at E.P. Carrillo’s La Alianza factory in the Dominican Republic. True to the Caldwell mission statement, Anastasia is crafted with rare and specialty tobaccos that had long been cared for by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo – it’s due to these rare tobaccos that Anastasia is an elusive, coveted cigar amongst enthusiasts.
