Back in 2003, working in a tobacco shop in LA, Pete Johnson started the now iconic Tatauje cigar brand. And after twenty years, the brand is still churning out some of the Nicaraguan blends on the market. Much of that success comes from Pete Johnson’s immense blending talents and his work with another legendary cigar maker, My Father Cigars. Two decades of cigar-making led to one of our favorite blends today in Tatuaje’s 20th Anniversary.
Loaded with well-aged, premium Nicaraguan tobacco, Tatuaje’s 20th Anniversary is finished with a silky-smooth Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. Seamless and oily, the cigar stands out immediately. Fire it up and expect a medium to full-bodied blend with notes of cedar, earth, and leather with hints of spice on the finish. Pair with bourbon, scotch, or spiced rum for maximum results.
