The Daughters of the Wind Rosado is a new expression within the celebrated Daughters of the Wind line, a departure from the original’s Ecuadorian Habano wrapper into something softer, rosier, and distinctly different in character. All five vitolas are produced at the IGM Cigars factory in Costa Rica and share a Costa Rican Habano Rosado wrapper and Costa Rican binder. The filler varies slightly by vitola: four of the five, the Robusto, Toro, Durra, and Figurado, use a blend of Costa Rican, Dominican, and Nicaraguan leaf, while the Lonsdale substitutes Peruvian for the Nicaraguan component, giving it a subtly distinct character that rewards comparison.
The Rosado wrapper brings a natural sweetness, floral complexity, and a lighter, more elegant profile than the original line, making this an ideal expression for the enthusiast who loves the Daughters of the Wind blend but wants something more approachable and nuanced.
