The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua. Nicholas Fusco, the founder of El Mago Cigars, created the brand in honor of his grandparents Maria and Gonzalo Torre. The Triunfante cigar line is named after his grandparents’ ability to overcome the many obstacles they faced. “Triunfante” is Spanish for triumphant.

A boutique cigar operation with heart, El Mago Cigars is the creation of Nicolas Fusco, the youngest cigar owner at the time of the company’s debut in 2022. Fusco was inspired to create the company after the untimely passing of his grandparents in 2021, being among the 98 victims claimed during the sudden collapse of Surfside’s Champlain Towers condominium in Miami.
This medium bodied cigar delivers a savory smoking experience with notes of sweetness, spice, and earth. Its oily, dark Mexican wrapper covers a Sumatra binder and a filler from Esteli, Nicaragua. The cigars are handmade in Nicaragua.
