If Gellis Family Cigars sounds familiar, you’re probably a fan of Warped Cigars. You see, Warped, is the brainchild of Kyle Gellis and his new Gellis Family Cigars is his latest venture. And the early results are fantastic! While Warped Cigars have wide portfolio, Gellis Family Cigar seem to be focusing on the higher end of things. And this release might be their finest to date…
To say Gellis was hands on with this one, would be an understatement. Each bale of tobacco used in the production of Piece Unique was hand-sourced by Gellis himself. The core of the cigar is comprised of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobacco that is finished by a Grade 1 Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper. A single pair of rollers were charged with producing the cigars and were limited to just 150 cigars a day. And after all of that, the cigars are aged a full year prior to boxing. Only 500 boxes were created, so once these gems sell out, you’re not seeing them for a while.
